We computer geeks have been forced into hiding. Why you might ask? Because when anyone (and I mean anyone) finds out that we have any clue what we are doing with computers we are inundated with pleas for help. It isn't that we mind helping, it is just that it can be quite the pain to walk someone through something, explaining why, and answering all of the questions that arise. Mix into this the fact that a good 90% of these requests are done over the phone, where you cannot see what they are seeing, and you have a headache in the making.

Description:
DynamicDream is a Dynamic DNS program for DreamHost. It lets you use your own domain for dynamic dns, for free, and without the annoying requirement of having to log in anywhere every 30 days (and other headaches that places like dyndns.org impose). Simply generate an API key with all dns permissions, enter it, the api username, the domain you would like to have set up (dyndns.anthonymaciel.com, for example), and how often you would like it to update and it will happily run in the background, keeping the rest of the world up on your ever changing internet (protocol) address.
